A variety of molding methods
Formatting can be done in four ways.
Casting
This method is done by melting the metals and pouring the molten material into the mold chamber. After cooling and solidifying the metal in the mold, it is taken out. Of course, the casting method itself is done in three ways. Die-casting, casting and sand casting are three forms of casting.
Plastic injection molding
This formatting method can be considered the most common method. This method is used to make small and large plastic parts. These molds are made of steel and can be produced in a large number of parts. Air molds and matrix mandrels will also be used, of course, each of them is used in different industries. In industrial designs, these molds are used a lot because they are much easier than old molds. In order to produce parts with higher speed and accuracy, all parts must have a specific mold. Nowadays, in various industries, due to the existence of various formats, parts are produced with speed and accuracy, as well as at a more reasonable cost. Also, more parts can be produced in less time.
Press template
One of the molding methods is press molding, which is used a lot. These molds are also made of steel and are very durable. These templates can be used for a long time. The interesting point here is that there are no defects in these templates and they always remain in their original form. One of the important features of the press template is that it has the ability to draw parts.
In fact, it should be said that this type of mold can be used for parts in which stretching and forming operations are done with very high details. These molds are made of high purity steel. It should be said that the quality of these molds depends on the raw materials and the type of their construction. Molding with quality materials will increase their durability.
Method of designing industrial molds and metal parts
For molding, the molds must be designed first. Before designing, you must enter detailed information and important details about the template into the design software. Even note that you must specify the material of the piece that is going to be produced in the mold. This point is very important and must be included in the design software. These design software are very accurate.
