Almond; Very important properties of almonds
Almonds are one of the useful kernels of nuts. More than 900 thousand tons of almonds with an approximate value of more than 4 billion dollars are produced worldwide. America is the largest producer of almonds. In fact, America accounts for about 80% of the world's almond production.
While this product is gaining more fans every year, its consumption goes back thousands of years. Different species of almond trees are native to the Middle East and South Asia. Almond is a tall tree with white and pink flowers. The almond tree grows in hot and dry climates, and for this reason it has spread throughout the Mediterranean region.

Then it made its way to America and Africa. The cashew tree is now widely cultivated in the tropical regions of the world, especially parts of India, Nigeria, Vietnam, Sahel Aj and Indonesia. The English name of this nut is Cashew. This name is derived from a Portuguese word for the Caju fruit tree, which means car nuts.
Hazelnut; Hazelnut properties in traditional medicine
At least 2,300 years have passed since the cultivation of hazelnuts in the Black Sea region of Türkiye. Today, Türkiye is the largest hazelnut producer in the world. Hazelnuts are grown in the Pacific Northwest in the United States and many other parts of the world. The demand for these delicious nuts is increasing day by day. Hazelnuts were used in ancient times as medicine and to increase strength. This issue is mentioned in Chinese manuscripts from 2838 BC.
This nut blooms in the middle of winter. Hazelnut sprouts remain the same until June, and then the hazelnut fruit begins to form. Hazelnuts fully ripen during the summer months and turn from green to hazel. Hazelnuts are usually harvested in late summer or early fall after they have fallen to the ground.

Peanut
Sham pistachio is another name for this nut and probably goes back to Peru or Brazil in South America. This nut is in the same family as beans and peas, yet it has the title of America's first nut.
Are peanuts considered nuts? Peanuts have many properties of nuts, and for this reason, they have opened their place among nuts. More than sixty-five percent of nut consumption in America is peanuts. It might be interesting for you to know that more than half of the peanuts produced in this country become peanut butter.
The main center of peanut cultivation in Iran is Astana Ashrafieh city located in Gilan province and then Mughan plain located in Ardabil province. These nuts are rich in protein and contain no cholesterol like many other nuts. The price of peanuts is not so high and can be used as a suitable substitute for harmful snacks.
Pistachio; The most nasty nutrient
If you ask someone what nuts are, probably the first example they will give is pistachios. The pistachio tree has been cultivated in the Middle East for thousands of years. Pistachio is considered a delicious food for the people of this region. In Iran, Kerman province is the flagship of pistachio production. The good taste and satisfying combination of healthy fats, fiber and protein make pistachios one of the best nuts. The most important types of pistachios are Akbari pistachios, Ahmad Aghaei pistachios, Kalehgouchi pistachios and Fandagi pistachios. In Iran, Akbari type is more famous than other types. This type of pistachio is more expensive than other types because of its appearance. The size of pistachios is measured in ounces. To get an ounce of pistachios, first weigh 142 grams of pistachios and after counting them, divide the resulting number by 5. Any number obtained is an ounce of pistachios. It goes without saying that the smaller the ounce of pistachio, the bigger its size and the higher its price.
