What is a CCTV?
Closed Circuit Television, which is abbreviated as CCTV, is a system of video cameras and monitors that are used for surveillance purposes. The term closed circuit means that unlike normal television that is widely broadcast to the public, CCTV broadcasts are usually transmitted to a limited number of (closed) screens. CCTV networks are usually used to identify and prevent criminal activities and record traffic violations, but they also have other uses.
