Tightening knitted clothes:

Determine the size of the tight dress: First, you need to determine how tight and small you want your knit dress to be. For this you need to wear clothes. By wearing the dress, you will notice which parts of the dress are widened. Sometimes the knitwear is widened and stretchy in the collar or sleeve, and sometimes the knitwear is widened and stretched in all parts. After wearing the dress and specifying the stretchy parts, now determine the width of the dress.

If the clothes are stretched by a small amount, for example two centimeters, and in certain areas, you can spray water on the clothes only in the same parts and then spread the clothes on the bedding to dry. Also, when only a part of your knitwear is stretched and widened, you can use this method to tighten it: First, fill the kettle with water and let it boil. Then pour some boiling water into a container and put the part of the clothes that is damaged and stretched into the container of boiling water. Use gloves to avoid burning your hands. After the stretchy part, take it out of the container when it is completely wet. At this stage, use a clean towel to dry your clothes to remove excess water from the knitwear and shape the clothes with your hands. Then dry the clothes with the help of a hair dryer with low heat. With this stretchy part, the dress becomes smaller. Don't forget to observe symmetry when shrinking the dress. But if the whole garment has expanded, it is better to completely immerse the woven garment in water using a pan and lukewarm water so that the water is completely absorbed in all its parts. Then take the knitted clothes out of the water and gently press them to remove excess water and prevent water from dripping. Spread the clothes on a clean towel and shape the clothes with the help of your hands. If you don't get the desired result, soak the knitted clothes again in lukewarm water until it fits to your desired size.
