Types of forklifts and its application
Forklift is an industrial machine that is used to lift and move materials in short distances. The forklift was invented in the early 20th century by various companies, including the Clark Power Transmission Company and the Yale and Towne Hoist Company. Forklifts have become an essential tool in production and storage activities.
Four -wheel -wheel -wheel
The most common car for storekeepers is a four-wheel forklift. This machine has the ability to move bulky and heavy loads with the help of its long forks and mast. This model of forklift can have diesel, electric and gas engine. The height of the mast of this car is a maximum of eight meters. The good feature of these machines is that they have the ability to install various extensions. For example, the user can install and use devices such as shift, roll holder, carton sealer, etc. to meet his needs.
Three -wheel forklifts
The biggest difference between this car and its four wheel type is the number of wheels used in it. As its name suggests, it has three wheels. It has two wheels in front and one wheel in the back. These machines are very efficient for working in narrow corridors due to their high power and low turning radius. For example, it is very common to use them in fruit storage cold rooms, drug storage warehouses, and food storage warehouses. This model of the mentioned cars generally has an electric motor.

Stacker
A stacker is a type of forklift that allows the user to lift the load to a high height. This machine has two types of movable and fixed forks. It also has a mast and a motion handle. Stackers use electric motors to provide the power they need.
The use of this machine is common for stacking goods at a high height and in narrow corridors. The maximum load that can be moved and transported by this car is almost two tons. The mast of the stackers has a height of six meters. Unlike four-wheel forklifts, stackers do not have the possibility of installing different extensions.
Richterak
The most common and perhaps the most popular types of forklifts for working in narrow corridors that have high shelves are types of reach trucks. Reach trucks are quite efficient for moving goods up to a height of about fourteen meters. Richtracks look very similar to stackers. But they are very different from each other in terms of how they work and function.
Reach trucks are suitable for working in closed spaces. Also, due to the fact that they do not have the ability to rotate much, they are perfect for working in narrow corridors and closed spaces. However, the reach trucks will have the ability to carry considerable cargo in small areas and in narrow corridors. They can also move the load at a high height with great precision.

Side Loader
Side loaders are suitable for working in narrow corridors. Also, this device is very suitable for transporting goods that are long. Among these goods, we can mention various pipes, types of timber and wooden boards. Side loaders have forks that are capable of carrying the mentioned loads. These forks are not suitable for the normal forklifts described above. The reason for this is that they will not be able to move them.
Telescopic or Handleler
Another machine that can be efficient for moving loads at high altitudes is the telehandler. These machines have the ability to access places and angles that normal machines definitely cannot reach. Telescopic forklifts have special equipment that cannot be used in normal warehouses. Therefore, it is not recommended to use these machines in all warehouses.
