Production and processing
PVC soft open-arm shrink is produced from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), but with differences in the production process that leads to its greater flexibility. These films are usually produced from the combination of PVC with softening additives, which makes the film able to shrink at a lower temperature and also becomes more flexible.
Features and Benefits
High flexibility
Open-arm soft shrink PVC is more flexible than dry shrink because of its special composition.
Low -temperature shocking capability
These films can be assembled at lower temperatures, which is very suitable for packaging heat-sensitive products.
Proper mechanical resistance
Despite being soft, these films still have good mechanical resistance and can protect products against physical damage.
Proper transparency
Although they may be less transparent than dry shrink, they still provide the ability to see the product inside the package.
Easy user
Due to the open side structure, it is easier and faster to use these films for packaging various products.
Applications
Open-arm soft shrink is used in different industries:
Food industry
For packing heat-sensitive food such as chocolates and some dairy products.
Pharmaceutical Industries
For packaging medicines and medical equipment that need thermal protection.
Cosmetics
