What is Flutter?

What is an electric floater? The switch or electric floater is an electric relay that is used to control the level of liquids that conduct electricity. The use of the breaker is done to prevent the fluid from overflowing and also its return. This work is done with the help of a hollow and light sphere, in addition to three wires. One of the wires is common and the other two are open and closed contacts. With the help of these components, the water level of the tank rises and falls, which causes the level of the filter to change. This causes the ball to move as well. This issue causes the contact built in the system to be disconnected and connected.

Controlling the level of liquids with a floater, as well as controlling pumps in electrical devices, is the main use of the switch. One of the issues that can cause serious damage to a device is running the system pump without water. In case of using a fulator, such an incident can be avoided.

Also, overfilling a tank and spilling liquid from it can cause damage to the machine, and in industrial environments, there may be a possibility of increase the incidence of accidents. The use of a circuit breaker is also recommended for such conditions. In order for the device not to be empty of liquid, or not to be overfilled, the floater can add the automatic filling and emptying of the tank to the system. Directing liquids inside the device is another feature that the floater can add.

Generally, there are two types of floaters in the market. Mechanical floater and electric or electronic floater. Mechanical floaters are usually installed in two ways. They are placed either on top of the mokhran or below it. Each of these installation methods is chosen for a specific purpose. If any type of mechanical floater is installed on top of the tank, it is to prevent overfilling of the tank. In other words, this work is done to control the fluid level. But if the floater is installed at the bottom of the tank, it is empty to prevent the pump from working in the tank.

Installing an electric floater to control the liquid level In this method, we need at least two electrodes, one of which is installed at the highest desired level and the other at the lowest accepted level. If the body of the capacitor is a conductor, we use a common terminal connected to its body, but if the body does not have a conductor, a third electrode must be placed at the end of the tank. When the device starts working, when the liquid level reaches the maximum desired level, the flowmeter cuts off the water flow, and when the acceptable level reaches the bottom, the command to connect the flow is sent to the system. In this way, the liquid inside the tank will always remain at the desired level. Installing a floater to prevent the pump from working in an empty tank This mode also has similarities with the previous mode. In this method, again, two electrodes are placed at the highest and lowest acceptable level of the tank for liquid. Then a third electrode is connected below the minimum acceptable level. This structure causes the pump's electric switch to check the device when the device is turned on and off so that it does not work in an empty tank.
