Introduction of air conditioning

What is the air conditioning?

Air conditioning is precisely the technology of bringing the indoor design conditions to standard conditions or optimal comfort. Conditions can include air quality, temperature, humidity and pressure. The design of the air conditioning system is done by a mechanical engineer using the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer principles. Sometimes the word refrigeration comes after air conditioning.

Types of air conditioning systems

Air conditioning systems can be classified with different approaches. From the user's point of view, these systems can be central, separate or combined.

🔻 Central air conditioning systems include chillers and fan coils.
🔻 In a separate system, water coolers can be used or use a wall split along with an independent wall package and radiator. The combined system also includes a central heating engine room with radiators/hot water coils for heating, and a wall split system or split duct or water cooler for cooling.

From the point of view of energy consumption, air conditioning systems can be divided into the following two categories:

All electric such as compression chillers , split channel, VRF
Gas and electricity combination such as absorption chillers and GHP or gas heat pump

From the perspective of condenser cooling, air conditioning systems Divided into two systems: 🔻 Cool water like absorption or cooling water compression chillers that need a cooling tower VRF VRF and GHP or gas heat pump

In terms of heat transfer fluid, the following two categories can be considered:

< Water systems in which the heat transfer fluid is water and is produced by chillers or boilers and boilers and is directed to the distribution units using pumps. Evaporators cool the air and adjust the temperature, humidity, quality and pressure of the interior design using air fluid. A clear example of this is VRF, channel split and wall split systems. Note that in most cases, combined systems are used.

In terms of the type of fluid transfer, heat transfer can be:

using pipes Galvanized or several layers of water or refrigerant using copper pipes.
🔻Transfer air through air channels and using air washers, air conditioners or water coolers.
