🟧 single scaffolding 🟧
Single scaffolding is generally used for brick masonry and it is also called brick layer scaffolding. The single scaffold consists of standards, ledger, pathlog, etc., which is parallel to the wall at a distance of about 1.2 meters. The distance between the standards is about 2 to 2.5 meters. Ledgers connect the standards at a vertical distance of 1.2 to 1.5 meters. Pathlogs come out of the hole left in the wall to one end of the office.
🟧 double scaffolding 🟧
Double scaffolding is usually used for masonry, so it is also called masonry scaffolding. In stone walls, it is difficult to make holes in the wall to hold potholes. Therefore, two rows of scaffolding are made for its strength. The first row is 20 to 30 cm away from the wall and the other row is 1 meter away from the first row. Then there are putlogs that are supported by both frames. To make it stronger, sanders and cross braces are considered. This is also called independent scaffolding.
🟧 cantilever scaffolds 🟧
This is a type of scaffolding in which the standards are supported on a series of needles and these needles come out of the holes in the wall. This scaffolding is called a single frame. In another type, the needles are strung inside the floors through the openings and it is called independent scaffolding or two frames. Care must be taken when constructing cantilever scaffolding. In general, cantilever scaffolds are used in situations such as when the ground does not have the capacity to support the standards, when the ground near the wall is supposed to be free of traffic, when the upper part of the wall is under construction.
🟧 suspended scaffolding 🟧
In suspended scaffolding, the work platform is suspended from the roofs with the help of a tow wire or chain, etc., it can be raised or lowered to the required level. This type of scaffolding is used for repairs, pointing, painting, etc.
🟧 Scaffolding with a base 🟧
In trestle scaffolding, the work platform is supported on tripods or movable ladders. It is usually used for indoor work such as painting, repairs, etc. up to 5 meters high.
🟧 steel scaffolding 🟧
Steel scaffolding is made by steel pipes that are fixed to each other by steel couplings or joints. It is very easy to build or dismantle. It has more strength, more durability and higher resistance to fire. It is not economical but it provides more safety for the workers. Therefore, it is widely used today.
