The difference between a three-axle trailer and a four-axle trailer

Three-axle and four-axle trailers are both used to carry heavy and bulky loads. But the main difference between these two types of trailers is the number of axles. Three-axle trailers have 3 axles, two of which are in the front and one in the back. Four-axle trailers have 4 axles, 3 of which are in the front and one in the back. Four-axle trailers have more carrying capacity than three-axle trailers. Also, four-axle trailers are more stable than three-axle trailers. But four-axle trailers consume more fuel than three-axle trailers and also have larger dimensions. In Iran, three-axle trailers are more common than four-axle trailers. The reason for this is the relatively more reasonable price of three-axle trailers.
