A good photo is good because all the elements in the composition work together. Not that they are conflicting with each other. In some cases, this collaboration goes a little further than this and is called concatenation.

Different parts of a photo have deeper similarities than what is seen on the surface. . For example, you might photograph a tree that looks like a mountain in the distance, or your subject might be wearing a t-shirt that matches his eyes. Perhaps the simplest example is the image of a landscape completely reflected in a pool of water. Such patterns are the reason for the index of the photo and the viewer can easily understand the relationship between them. Your ideas make for a unique photo, and the connection doesn't always happen, but when it does, the result is powerful.
