What is the difference between trailer and stray?

What are trillies and types of back breakers, in terms of appearance and structure, the differences have many similarities with each other. In fact, what we often see on roads and transport routes is a trailer - or a dry trailer. As it was said, what is the size of the back breaker and its special structure has actually caused that these types of trolleys are less common on the roads and they are mainly used on difficult or special roads. Let us explain a little more specifically about this. In general, there are two types of trills in the world, namely dry trills and back-breaking trills.

In Iran, dry trailer is called the same trailer as Kenworth trailer. Based on this name, we can find some differences between the trolley and the back-breaking trolley. The first difference is in their design and overall structure. As mentioned, the backbreaking trolley is designed in such a way that the four wheels of the cabin (tractor) can be moved. This feature has made it practically have a very high control in driving these trailers. In fact, the type of driving and control of back-breaking trolleys is something similar to off-road cars. Therefore, in rocky or hard-to-pass environments, etc., back-breaking trolleys are usually used. But as mentioned, these trolleys have very low speed and high length. In fact, the length of some back-breaking trolleys reaches more than 10 meters. In simple terms, the length of a back-breaking trolley is longer than the total length of 5 cars. Therefore, they are usually not allowed to drive on the roads. because their low speed and long length as well as the weight of the load they carry can be dangerous for other drivers and vehicles.

تفاوت تریلی و کمرشکن

But all types of dry trailers are optimized for carrying on normal roads. These trolleys have hydraulic steering wheels that make it easier for the driver to move around, but there is no separate movement of the wheels in these trolleys. These trolleys are usually shorter than back-breaking trolleys and are usually two or three times as long as a car. What we see as a trailer on the road is actually a dry trailer. An interesting point that should be noted is that usually, due to the aforementioned characteristics, the backbreaking trailer is not allowed to travel on the road. Therefore, to use these trolleys in projects such as mines, etc., they usually separate the backbreaking trolley parts from each other and use dry trolleys to take them to the project site. In some countries, there are practically restrictions for transporting these parts - due to being OVERSIZE - and it is not possible to transport them more than a thousand kilometers.

⚫️ What is the amount of cargo with a trailer?

Based on the type of back-breaking trolley and the length of the cargo floor, etc., the tonnage of the cargo is different. In the maximum tonnage mode, which is carried by four axles - 32 wheels - it is possible to transport nearly 100 tons of cargo. This topic shows well that backbreaking trolleys are designed and produced to transport loads with high tonnage.
