گیوه چیست؟
Giveh is a cool and durable summer slippers whose top is made of spun cotton thread and silk thread and the bottom is made of leather, lace and rubber. The provinces of Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Ilam, Fars, Hamadan, Qazvin, Zanjan, and in Kurdish regions such as Ilam, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, and West Azerbaijan, are known as Kalash, and its history dates back to the Safavid era. The mat is washable and due to the presence of pores in the fabric of the mat, it is possible to ventilate the air inside the mat easily, which prevents sweating and foot odor. Also, the sole of this shoe is produced by men due to hard physical work, and the upper, which requires delicate work, is mostly woven by women. This shoe has recently entered the fashion and clothing industry and is used by the young community.
The features of the shoe shoe
The interesting thing is that Giweh has no right or left pairs! Each pair can be worn on the right or left foot. Another interesting feature of this native shoe is that it keeps your feet cool and thus prevents unpleasant odors and sweaty feet. Also, this clog is completely waterproof.
Giveh color is traditionally white, but it may be produced in different colors such as blue, red, black, brown and others. Needless to say, the so-called color dye does not return the color. Although Giweh is mainly produced by women, it is men who use this traditional Iranian shoe the most.
