What is pinch valve or pinch valve?

Pinch valve or pinch valve is used to control or stop the flow of abrasive, granular, fibrous or corrosive fluids. Pinch valve is also called clamp valve or clamp valve. Pinch valve is widely used as a separating or adjusting valve for sludge, dust, emulsion, gaseous materials, powder, compressed air, granules, pellets, etc.

What is Pinch Wolf?

A pinch valve is a type of valve with a flexible body with a flexible tube that can mechanically control fluid flow. Pinch valve keeps the flow path open or closed through mechanism or fluid pressure. The flow path of these valves is straight and without gaps and moving parts. The soft body of pinch valves has the ability to seal around trapped solids. This feature makes pinch valves ideal for handling slurry, food and pharmaceuticals.

Application of pint milk

Due to the functional mechanism of the pinch valve and its complete sealing when closed, it has various applications. The industries in which pinch valves are used are:

✅ Chemical industries
✅ Mining industries
✅ Weighing systems
✅ Commercial vehicle industries
✅ Bulk and solid material transportation industries

The principles of the pint of milk work

Pinch valve has three main parts:

🔰 Housing
🔰 An elastomeric rubber sleeve
🔰 End fittings

Elastomer tube from inlet It is installed to the outlet with a pinch mechanism in the chamber and is the only part that is in contact with the fluid environment. End fittings can be screwed or threaded at each end to provide the required connection.

Pinch mechanism can have different types.

⭕️ Simple mechanism works with only one screw and only has one clamp on one side of the pipe or a differential screw with two clamps
⭕️ Mechanisms Mechanically, they use air or hydraulic pressure. Under normal conditions, the pinch valve is open. When air or hydraulic pressure is applied to the valve, it pushes the elastomeric rubber sleeve down, creating a pinch effect. When the sleeve is fully engaged, the flow is restricted and the valve closes. The rubber sleeve in a pinch valve has the ability to trap particles around it and provides the ability to completely stop the flow.

When the external pressure is released, the force of the fluid flow and the rebound property of the rubber will fully open the valve. This fully opened valve provides free flow to the fluid, which prevents the valve from clogging. Since the fluid is only in contact with the rubber tube, it remains isolated and free of contamination.
