Stainless steel
Among the types of sink materials, stainless steel is the most popular. Steel sink is produced with various coatings and thicknesses. In general, stainless steel sinks are relatively lightweight, durable, and easy to clean. Covers and pads are installed for this type of sink, which reduces the sound produced by the sink. Stainless steel sinks are available in both surface and built-in installation options. Therefore, this type of sink is easy to clean and maintain, lasts up to 30 years and is resistant to bacteria. However, stainless steel is prone to scratches and dents.
Copper
The copper sink adds style and distinctive feeling to the kitchen decoration. Copper sinks are usually handmade, and some have a little zinc (about 1%) added to make them stronger. Copper sinks are very popular and expensive due to their long durability and unique and modern appearance.

Cast iron
Cast iron sinks are made from an iron bowl and covered with a thick glaze. These sinks are heavy and this weight means long lasting. These types of sinks are known for their long life and exceptional durability. As they live for more than four decades, they will not easily suffer from cracks and dents, and their maintenance is easy.
Chinese
These sinks have a molded steel basin that is treated with a thick layer of porcelain enamel. This mold is baked under high heat to create a smooth and shiny finish. These sinks are known for being affordable and easy to maintain. The porcelain sink has the ability to offer a wide variety of sizes and colors and has an insulated back to reduce noise.
Frying soil
This durable option among sinks is made at high heat to create a sink that is impact and scratch resistant. Refractory soil sinks are offered in various colors and their smooth surface prevents the accumulation of bacteria. Ceramic kitchen sinks are similar to enameled cast iron sinks, but they weigh much less.
