Types of Store Gate and their application
EM electromagnetic gates: These types of gates work through electromagnetic force and have their own advantages and disadvantages. Let us first point out their disadvantages and limitations. Electromagnetic gates are only able to identify and recognize tags within a range of less than one meter (about 80 cm). They also take up a lot of space and their installation and setup costs are high. But the main advantage of these gates is that a large number of tags and labels can be activated with them. As a result, in centers that have a lot of goods (such as clothing stores or bookstores), using these gates can be appropriate.
AM acoustic-magnetic gates: these gates use magnetic and acoustic force at the same time. They can cover a wider range and are especially sensitive to metals. Usually, we see the use of audio-magnetic gates in large cosmetics stores.
RF radio frequency gates: This type of gates use radio waves to detect tags. Their accuracy and sensitivity are very high and they rarely make mistakes. Of course, these gates may interfere with neighboring shops, but they are very quick and easy to install.
What is the performance of store gates?
Store gates are made up of different parts that work in harmony with each other to ensure the safety of the store. The three main parts in store gates are: antenna, electronic board and tags.
Antennas are actually the fences that are placed next to the exit door of the store. They are usually placed on both sides of the door, because one of the antennas acts as a transmitter of waves and the other is a receiver. When the tags pass between these two antennas, if they have not been disabled before, the alarm will sound. The electronic boards are also located inside the antenna and are considered one of the important parts in the store gate system. Usually, the store employees have special tools with which they can easily separate the tags from the goods. Therefore, the customer must provide the desired items to the store attendants so that they can remove the tags. Store gates can be installed anywhere. It is even possible to install them at the entrance to the bathroom or the bathroom. In this case, any possible abuse will be prevented. Of course, the store gate system has powerful waves that can be detected even from under the clothes and body of people.
