Types of CCTV based on manufacturing technology
1- Analog
is one of the types of CCTV cameras. In fact, analog is the name of the signal that this camera receives. Analog is said to include the first generation of CCTV cameras. This camera uses only analog signals to receive and record images. As its name suggests, the quality of the images in this camera is a function of analog waves. It is said that analog waves are always exposed to noise, and noise is one of the most serious threats to this type of signal. For this reason, it is very important to use quality cables and accessories to use an analog CCTV camera.
2- Digital
These cameras, with better quality and clearer images, are the new generation in the field of CCTV cameras. As its name suggests, the digital camera or IP Camera records and displays high-quality digital images. To record analog images, we had to use a DVR or an analog-to-digital converter. While recording digital images does not require such a device. These cameras are also called CCTV cameras. The reason is that its waves are controlled under the network. One of the most important features of a digital camera, in addition to high image quality, is the possibility of wireless communication with high security.
