Keeping wooden containers
Not using a dishwasher to wash wooden dishes
One of the important points that you must pay attention to is that you should not use a dishwasher to wash wooden dishes. The high temperature and steam in the dishwasher can damage your dishes. Some people think that they can put wooden dishes in the dishwasher along with other dishes. But this is a wrong move that can cause your dishes to be destroyed. In general, if wooden items are exposed to water and heat for a long time, they lose their quality and efficiency to a large extent. For this reason, try to wash your wooden dishes by hand.
Not using scotch or dishwashing wire to wash wooden dishes
One of the tools that can cause damage to wooden dishes is using scotch and dishwashing wire to wash dishes. Also, using rough cloths can damage your wooden dishes. Using these devices causes the smooth and polished surface of the wood to disappear. In addition to reducing the efficiency of your dishes and equipment, this issue can cause water to penetrate into the wood. Also, with the loss of the smooth surface of the wood, the appearance of the product also decreases. For this purpose, you can use all kinds of clouds and soft sponges. You can also use soft cloths such as velvet to clean wooden dishes.
If the surface of your wooden dishes is rough, you can repair them using special fine sandpaper. But be careful to do this carefully. Also, after finishing the work, re-lubricate the surface of the dishes.

Do not use bleach and Vitex to clean wooden utensils
Bleach and Vitex are highly corrosive, which causes the destruction of the outer surface of wood. Also, the materials may penetrate the wood texture, which may cause them to enter the food. But if you have to use a bleach to clean the wooden container, try to use a quality bleach as much as possible. Also, do not expose the dishes to bleach and Vitex for a long time. After doing this, wash the dishes well. To be more sure, you can rinse your dishes two or three times.
Placing wooden dishes in the open air to dry
Another point that you should pay attention to is that after washing wooden dishes, do not immediately put them inside the cabinet or the desired place. First, place the containers in an open space to dry naturally and slowly. Cleaning the dishes using a napkin can remove the oils on the surface of the dishes. It is also possible that the entire surface of the dishes is not dry. Remaining moisture on the surface of wooden containers can cause all kinds of bacteria and fungi to appear.
