Impact of CNG gas on motor and car components

The ratio of carbon to hydrogen in CNG fuel is much lower compared to other fuels. This ratio is one to four. This point is important because it creates less carbon deposits in the parts of the car such as the combustion zone, valve inlets and piston heads, and rim grooves during fueling. Therefore, these parts will not need to be gripped regularly. In addition, as a result of reducing the amount of carbon deposits and pollutants, the engine oil and filter remain much cleaner, and there is no need to change them regularly. Finally, all these advantages mentioned increase the life of the car. In cars that run on gasoline, when the engine cools down in low air temperatures, it causes the gasoline to be distilled and its droplets sit on the walls of the cylinders. These drops enter the oil cartel and in the long run cause damage and reduce its efficiency.
But natural gas does not have such characteristics and is not distilled at very low temperatures, and even if it comes into contact with oil, it does not spoil it.

Comparison in terms of car navigation

The density of compressed natural gas is one third of the density of gasoline, and as a result, a gas car with a gas tank volume equal to the gasoline tank volume is three Compared to a gasoline car, it needs to go to a gas station for the same distance. As a result, the operational range of gasoline-burning cars is greater than that of gas-burning cars. Natural gas is a fuel with optimal and clean combustion, which increases engine life and reduces emissions. In gasoline-burning cars, spark plugs are replaced every 32,000 km, while in gas-burning cars, they are replaced every 120,000 km. One of the other advantages of this fuel compared to gasoline is that natural gas cannot be sucked and therefore is not subject to theft. But in the case of gasoline, there has always been this problem, especially since its price is much higher than natural gas. The duration of refueling is much lower and by calculating the time before connecting the nozzle, it is about 4 to 5 minutes.

Significant reduction in the amount of polluting gases introduced into the air as a result of CNG gas combustion is one of the other advantages of this fuel. This reduction is about 70% for carbon monoxide gas, 89% for non-methane gas pollutants, and 87% for nitrogen oxide.
