Choosing the right kindergarten for the child
Official license: Kindergartens are required to obtain official license from competent authorities for legal activity. In Iran, two welfare and education organizations are in charge of issuing licenses for kindergartens.
Welfare Organization: As the main trustee, it is in charge of supervising kindergartens in the country and issues licenses to non-governmental kindergartens. .
Education: In some special cases, such as Quranic kindergartens or those affiliated with schools, a license is also issued by this organization for kindergartens.
Compliance with health protocols: The health and hygiene of children in the kindergarten environment is of great importance. A proper kindergarten should be regularly cleaned and disinfected and have proper ventilation. Also, kindergarten teachers and personnel must have passed the necessary training in the field of health to take care of children's health and hygiene during the day.
Environment security: Kindergarten environment should be such that children feel safe and calm. The existence of suitable protections at the entrance and exit, windows and stairs, warning systems in times of danger, and CCTV to monitor the interior and exterior of the kindergarten, are among the things that should be considered when choosing a kindergarten.
Educational approach according to the child's needs and interests: Different kindergartens use different educational approaches such as game-based, education-based or integrated. Choosing the right approach depends on the needs, interests and learning style of each child. For example, some children learn better in play-based environments that have more freedom and creativity, while others need more structure and order in the curriculum.
Diversity and appropriateness of educational activities: Kindergarten educational program should include diverse activities appropriate to the age and needs of children. These activities can include free and creative play, storytelling, painting, music, physical activity, and basic learning such as the alphabet and numbers. The diversity and appropriateness of activities, while motivating children, helps them grow and develop their different skills in different fields.
Appropriate teacher-to-child ratio: The appropriate number of teachers in relation to the number of children allows for adequate attention and care for all children. In standard kindergartens, this ratio is usually between 1 to 3 and 1 to 8.

A suitable kindergarten should benefit from qualified, expert, patient and motivated teachers.
