sandy soil
Silt soil

clay soil
Clay is the smallest particle among the other two types of soil. The particles in this soil are very tightly packed together and have very little or no porosity. This soil has a very good water storage quality and makes it difficult for moisture and air to penetrate it. Clay is very sticky when wet, but soft when dry. Clay is the densest and heaviest type of soil that does not drain well and does not provide the space for plant roots to flourish.

loamy soil
Loamy soil is a combination of sand, silt and clay so that it includes the beneficial properties of each of them. For example, one of the most important properties of loam soil is the ability to retain moisture and nutrients. Hence, it is more suitable for agriculture. This soil is also considered as agricultural soil. Because it includes the balance of all three types of soil materials, sand, clay and silt, and also has humus. Apart from this, due to its inorganic origin, it also has more calcium and pH.
