Boiling lip fittings

In these connections, the ends of the connections are chamfered for welding, and their shape can be different according to the thickness of each one. B16.2SASME standard provides a method for shaping and chamfering (beveling) butt weld joints. One of the most important features of these joints is to reduce fluid flow confusion, reduce corrosion, permanently prevent leakage, and reduce wear due to Chemical activity pointed out.
The weld lip connections include the following:

45 degree elbow
90 degree elbow
Cap< 🔸180 degree elbow (SR)
🔸180 degree elbow (LR)
🔸equal tee
🔸transformation tee
🔸concentric transformation
🔸non-concentric transformation
🔸Steel core
🔸Steel head
🔸Steel bush
🔸Steel ratchet

Silent connection

Socket weld is another type of steel connection that is connected through welding. This connection has two types of stainless steel and carbon steel. These connections are used in high pressure transmission lines and in piping systems of various industries. In fact, they are used in places that require more accurate connections and higher pressure tolerance; such as the oil and gas industry, petrochemical industry, medical industry, power plant, volcanic system.

The types of silent weld connections include the following:

🔸 Elbow
🔸Tee
🔸Cap
🔸Conversion
🔸Full bushing
🔸Half bushing
🔸Conversion bushing
🔸Masur nut

Threaded connections

Threaded connections are a type of steel connections that create connections using screws, unlike welding connections. These fittings are usually used to make connections in small pipes. There are special machines for making threads on screws. Of course, it should be noted that the size of the threads created in the pipe should be such that it can be matched with the threaded connection. One of the important tools in threaded connections is the pipe paste. In fact, the threads are covered with this type of paste before connecting. The paste used in threaded connections has two advantages. One of the advantages of this paste is to create a smooth surface between the thread and the pipe, and its other advantage is to create a proper seal on the connection.

Gear connections

This type of steel connections are included in the sub-group of threaded connections, and their advantages and performance are better than other subgroups of threaded connections. These connections can be made of 304 steel or 316 steel. Welded steel connections, as one of the common connections, are made of the best stainless steel. Using these two types of steel can prevent rust and corrosion. 316 steel fittings are more resistant to wear and corrosion than 304 gear fittings.
Stainless steel is not just one material, but this name refers to a set of corrosion-resistant steels. Stainless steels are steels that have at least 11% chromium and are resistant to rust and corrosion.

This resistance is caused by chromium oxide, which is always present on the surface of stainless steel. Therefore, gear joints, which are a subset of stainless steel, also have this property. Gear joints have high strength. These joints show more resistance and efficiency than other steel joints in moderate weather conditions. Meanwhile, if the temperature is so high as to heat up the gear joints, they lose their color. Of course, they have high resistance when heated and no problem will arise. As a result, these connections are used in industries that require high temperature resistance.
