What is a replica?
Mockup is actually a 3D design that is made in the desired scale. These models, which present a phenomenon, process or idea, make it easier for professionals and employers to understand the subject.
The mock-up is produced with various materials and tools, and the purpose of making it is to better understand the subject, display and present, attract attention for investment, marketing and sales.

replica types
Mockup is generally divided into two categories: study mockup and final mockup.
Types of final replicas are:
topography replica
Exterior replica
Interior mockup
Landscape mockup
Shear copy

Industrial replica

What is an industrial replica?
This type of replica is produced in two types: replicas of industrial parts and replicas of industrial factories.
As you know, most of the industrial parts and equipment are such as water purification systems, turbines, bulky and heavy engines, etc. For this reason, manufacturers prefer to use replicas of these parts for unveiling. Usually, when making a replica of industrial parts, their details are included in order to simulate the real sample.
The mockup of industrial factories shows the production lines and operation processes such as power plants, refineries, automobile manufacturing, sewage network, etc., which are built according to the site or factory plan. It should be noted that the details of the replica can be different based on the ordered scale or the area of the factory.

What are the industrial replica steps?
In general, industrial modeling takes place in two stages:
The first stage
In the first step, the builder must have a correct understanding of the industrial unit map in order to make the 2D map into a 3D model on a smaller scale.
At this stage, the material used is very important because sometimes the selected materials have properties that require a 3D map.
Especially in industrial replicas due to the presence of uneven surfaces and different shapes, technologies such as 3D printers can be helpful for better and more delicate manufacturing.
The second stage
In the second step, the constructed items should be connected to each other and landscaping should be done. Various materials can be used for landscaping. The replica consists of small and delicate parts, and the type of connection and how to do this work is important.
For this reason, attention should be paid when choosing a chassis. Usually, the chassis of industrial replicas is made of plexiglass, wood, etc., so that it has a light weight while being strong. In addition to the mentioned items, the weight of the replica is important because it must be made in such a way that it is easy to transport.
