What is an industrial switchboard?

The switchboard places electrical or electronic equipment such as switches, knobs and displays in insulated rows and in an orderly manner so that their control, replacement and repair can be done easily by the operator. In the meantime, it may be necessary that some electronic switchboards have special features such as proper ventilation to reduce temperature, protection from radio frequency interference, or the ability to protect against electrostatic discharge.
