But if we want to express its types in a specialized way, we must divide them according to items such as gender, production method, origin and use; Because each material is different from these elements and has its own characteristics.

What are the materials in terms of sex?

If we want to express the materials in terms of gender, they are divided into two groups, simple and compound.

✔️ Simple materials

Mineral, natural or synthetic products that consist of the same material and similar internal materials are called simple materials. Gravel, sand, cement, tiles, beams, etc. are construction materials.

✔️ Composite materials

Mineral, natural or artificial products that consist of several types of internal materials are called composite materials. Concrete, beams, Iranite , isogam, mortars and... are composite construction materials.

✔️ Types of building materials in terms of manufacturing

Construction materials are divided into two categories in terms of production methods: prefabricated materials and in-situ materials.

✔️ Prefabricated materials

Building materials and materials that are prepared through factory production operations are called prefabricated materials. Tiles, ceramics, bricks, pottery, beams , block, concrete, stone, etc. are such construction materials.

✔️ In situ material

Building materials and materials that are prepared and produced at the same construction site are called in-situ materials. Mortars, in-situ concrete, blocks Roof, in-situ frame, etc. are considered in-situ construction materials.

✔️ Types of building materials in terms of their application:

✔️ Natural materials

Minerals found in nature are called natural materials. Stone materials, sand, soils, especially clay, are natural materials.

✔️ Adhesives
