The first operational step in the construction of a concrete pool is excavation. Usually, using an excavator and based on the map, excavation operations are carried out with appropriate area and depth. Next, it is time to strengthen the soil surface. For this purpose, a layer of concrete is usually applied between 5 and 10 cm on the bottom of the pool. In this way, you get a level and uniform surface to continue working.
Next comes the reinforcement of the pool floor and walls using steel bars. In the implementation of reinforcement, the necessary space for the transfer of water piping and mechanical installation lines of the pool should also be considered. With the completion of the reinforcement, the mechanical installation system such as the pool pump and filter are placed. In addition, you must also consider the slope of the pool in the implementation of reinforcement. Then the water is piped in the pool. Finally, concrete molding should be done for concreting.
After that, it is time for concreting, which is the most important stage of concrete pool implementation. After concreting, concrete curing is usually done for 2 weeks so that the concrete can achieve proper strength. After finishing the concrete processing, it is time to seal the concrete body of the pool to prevent water penetration. Usually, a layer of cement epoxy is applied on the concrete surface for this purpose. With the implementation of tiling and landscaping, the construction of the concrete pool is finished.

Usually, the concreting of the pool floor is done first, and then it is time to concretize the molding of the walls.

The second method for concreting the pool is called shotcrete. In this method, concrete paste is sprayed on the floor and walls of the pool. Shotcrete concreting is done in two ways: wet and dry. Of course, you should note that the quality of shotcrete concreting is higher. By using the shotcrete method, you will not need any formwork for concreting.
Therefore, the main difference between this method and the previous one is the lack of formatting. In addition, shotcrete provides the possibility of easier concreting to implement different geometric shapes of the pool. Of course, do not forget that due to the need for a professional operator to implement shotcrete concreting, it costs more than the molding method.

For pool concreting, we suggest you go for 400 grade concrete. Concrete grade means the amount of cement in the concrete structure per cubic meter. Accordingly, there are 400 kg of cement per 1 cubic meter of 400 grade concrete. Although some manufacturers may recommend 350 carat for the pool; But if you are looking for a durable pool with a long lifespan, we recommend choosing 400 grade concrete.
