Hub valves
Ball valves are called single lever valves that are mostly used in the kitchen. The structure of these valves is such that the valve lever rotates around a ball cap on top of the valve body. This lever actually controls the plastic or metal ball placed inside the body of the valve.
The function of this group of valves is that it is possible to adjust the temperature and pressure with only one hand. But its problem is that the proportion of other faucets without washers has more problem of dripping due to the number of parts used in the faucet.
Disc Building Valves
Ceramic sanitary faucets are a new generation of luxury and modern building faucets. These valves are also single lever types. Their lever is mounted on a wide cylindrical body. Disc valves mix hot and cold water inside a tank, which is called a pressure balance cartridge. At the end of this tank, there are two ceramic disks that control the water pressure by moving up and down. Also, turning the lever to the left and right is designed to adjust the water temperature. These valves are of high quality and perform better than other types, as a result, they will need less repair.
Cartridge Valves
Cartridge valves are two-lever types and have an appearance completely similar to two-lever pressure valves and are widely used in the construction industry. The only difference between them is that the cartridge valves are of the type without washers and the pressure valves are of the type with washers. But despite the similarity in appearance, you can easily notice the difference in their performance when using them. Because pressure valves need to apply pressure on the washer when turning the lever. In other words, it is not easy to get water out of the faucet with cartridge faucets. But in cartridge faucets, with the smallest turn of the lever, it is possible to stop or connect the water flow.

Pressure valves are the oldest type of construction valves that are often seen in old buildings. These valves are types with washers and their prices are cheaper than other valves. Although it requires more pressure to turn off and on the water flow, it will have less dripping problems and better performance than other types of construction faucets.
