After sorting, the wood chips are made into several sheets and different covers are drawn on them. Each of these mdf sheets have different coatings. These coatings are known as the final coating of MDF and have natural and synthetic types, each of which has unique characteristics and applications. The most widely used MDF veneers in Iran are synthetic veneers.

MDF Coating Natural Wood

This cover is prepared during a special operation and process. The way to prepare it is that after cooking the wood in steam or hot water, the high-quality sawdust is cut into thin layers and sheets of wood by chipping methods. This type of wood coating has a very long life and can be easily repainted and repaired. Because the cabinets that are made with natural wood are very expensive and it takes a lot of time to make them, so it is not possible to use all the wood. Rather, to solve these disadvantages, they use natural wood veneer. The only disadvantage of this coating is that it does not have a good resistance to moisture. You should also be careful not to expose them to sunlight. Because after some time they change color and become flaky. One of the most common wood coverings is mulch wood and beech wood, which makes the work look alive and natural.

Artificial woodcut

This cover is made of paper or thin PVC sheets. These covers are made of different designs and colors and have high resistance to heat and humidity compared to wooden covers. The use of this type of cover has become very common and most MDF sheets are covered with this cover.

Thermoplastic Coating

This coating is one of the most popular among synthetic wood coatings. This type of coating is available in various and simple patterns and designs, it has a large thickness and is used on chipboard and MDF. The variety of colors of this cover is so high that sometimes it becomes very difficult to distinguish this cover from natural wood. Due to its high flexibility, this coating is mostly used to make edge strips and to cover profiles and shaped and milled edge strips. These types of coatings include PVC coating and acrylic sheets, which PVC coating is one of the most widely used. It is them.

Acrylic coating

As we said, acrylic is one of the thermoplastic coatings with very high flexibility and malleability. These coatings are more attractive and shiny than other coatings, such as high-gloss coatings, and are very resistant in terms of strength. Because this coating does not react to chemicals and acids, and is also resistant to moisture, it is very popular. Another advantage is that it can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

Pvc polyvinyl chloride coating

This type of cover is a type of plastic with many uses. Because PVC is cheap and easy to assemble. More than 50% of mankind's construction in construction has been made of this PVC. In the past years, in many areas, PVC has been a very good alternative to building materials such as cement and clay. Polyvinyl chloride coatings have thicknesses between 0.2 and 3 mm. Due to its high flexibility, this cover is easily used in kitchen cabinet doors and edge strips. The resistance of this coating against heat and heat is very low, but it is high against humidity.

High -pressure laminates or HPL

These covers are made from kraft paper sheets. They use resin in the construction of the lower and middle layers. The top layers and actually the surface layers are made of decorative paper or decorative papers. These coatings are produced in a simple standard form, but they are also available in the market in matte and glossy types. No additives are used in their production. One of its major disadvantages is its inflexibility. This defect has caused it not to be used to cover the edged parts in a rounded shape. Laminate under high pressure is very permeable to moisture and heat. In terms of price, they are not affordable because their price is high.

Compact laminate

This type of coating is the same as the previous coating, the only difference is that it is produced from more layers and is made under higher pressure. Compared to high-pressure laminate, compressed laminate has a higher resistance to moisture and heat.
