Comb harvesters are one of the oldest types of harvesters. These harvesters are made up of different components, including the brush shoulder, chassis, driver, rear and front support bars, as well as safety devices. One of the advantages of this type of harvesters is the ability to connect them to the tractor, and accordingly, they are divided into mid-mounted, rear-mounted and semi-mounted harvesters. In rear-mounted harvesters, the harvester is connected to the tractor in a three-point manner. In this case, the entire weight of the harvester is on the tractor, and the direction of movement of the harvester changes as the tractor's path changes. Semi-mounted harvesters, like rear-mounted ones, are placed on the tractor with a three-point connection and usually have one or two wheels. In this type of harvester, part of the weight of the harvester is mounted on its wheels so that the harvester is placed between the front and rear wheels. The mid-rider harvester is used in three-wheeled tractors or tractors with a large distance between the front and rear wheels. In this case, the harvester is placed in the distance between the front and rear wheels.

This type of harvester is mostly used for cutting grass and short bushes and is usually installed in the front of the tractor. Two wheel harvesters are mostly used in farms and gardens with small area. These harvesters consist of two basic parts: engine and cutting unit. Three- or four-wheeled harvesters are used in fields where it is not possible to use a tractor. The speed of these harvesters is 5 to 8 kilometers per hour, which can change due to the different number of wheels.
These harvesters are made up of important components such as gearbox, engine power and gears. Seated harvesters, as the name suggests, are equipped with a user seat designed to prevent fatigue. This harvester is used when the harvesting operation continues for a long time.
