Pay attention to the color of the fabric
A good thread is a thread that matches the color of the fabric and is a bit darker than it. In this way, the stitching on the fabric is not so obvious and it can bring you a clean stitch.
Having color stability
If you want to determine the color stability when buying different types of yarn, just wet a part of the yarn. Then drag it with hand pressure on a white cloth. If the thread does not have color stability and gives back the color, the effect of the color will remain on the fabric. Therefore, this thread should not be used in sewing.

Attention to the thickness of the fabric
In addition to these, paying attention to the thickness of the fabric is another point that is considered when choosing the thread. Thin silk threads, thin cotton thread with polyester coating and plain thin cotton thread are used along with a fine needle to sew on delicate and thin fabrics. Thick fabrics will be sewn with thicker and coarser threads such as silk thread 50 or cotton thread with polyester coating and cotton thread with polyester coating or cotton thread 40 to 50. In addition, 50 silk threads can be used for thick fabrics.
