What is an exhaust?
Exhaust is an important and practical part in cars and other motor vehicles that transports the smoke produced by the chemical reaction that is produced in the cylinder to the outside of the vehicle. Although this type of definition indicates the work of the exhaust, but with the advancement of technology, the performance of the exhaust has been developed and it is also responsible for more side tasks.

Car exhaust components
Each exhaust consists of three parts connecting to the engine, the middle and the end, in the meantime, the catalyst works in the first part due to the need for a temperature of 800 degrees Celsius, and the efficiency of the second and third parts is to reduce the temperature and reduce the sound. Is; And this part can have a significant effect in reducing the release of dangerous gases produced by burning fuel.
In the work related to tuning the engine, exhausts (sports exhaust) are used, which have the lowest possible resistance to the passage of exhaust gases.
What are different parts of exhaust?
Smoke exhaust manifold, connection pipes, exhaust pipe, muffler source and smoke diffuser pipe are the main components of the exhaust.
Exhaust Manifold: The use of the smoke exhaust manifold is to transfer the smoke coming out of the ducts in the cylinder to the exhaust pipe. This part is available in different models.
Exhaust connection pipes: these pipes are used as a connection between the source, the smoke manifold and the exhaust head. This part has a series of standards in terms of design, which by considering factors such as material, length and radius of the arcs, and most importantly, the nominal diameter of the pipe, plays a tremendous role in reducing negative pressure.
Exhaust source: The function of this part of the exhaust is to reduce the speed of the exhaust gases and finally reduce the noise of the exhaust gases and make them quieter to a large extent. Each of the sources has its own sound according to its gender, dimensions and characteristics.

Single outlet exhaust: It is one of the cheapest and most common exhausts used in cars and other vehicles. The transfer of fumes in the car cylinder is done through a pipe. This exhaust is used in cars with low engine volume because the amount of smoke produced in these engines is less than others.
Double exhaust: This type of exhaust is one of the most used exhaust in the automotive industry. Dual exhausts, due to their larger volume than the single exhaust, transfer more smoke to the outside. Reducing fuel consumption in the use of double exhaust (which has two exhaust outlets) compared to single exhaust, is its main advantage.
Opposite double exhaust: Double exhausts had many positive features, but due to the non-bending of the exhaust pipes due to its material, car factories were not able to use this type of exhaust in small and medium-sized cars. In the last years of the 19th century, American engineers made exhausts with a smaller tank, which had the possibility of designing the transfer pipe according to the car in question.
Two-way exhausts: They are similar to the reverse double exhaust, where the exhaust pipes are placed on the sides of the car, but although this type of exhaust is sporty, it did not become popular among car manufacturers due to the increase in fuel consumption.
But this type of exhaust is also very useful in car racing, because it increases the acceleration of the car. In addition to these advantages, it should be mentioned that they are expensive and because of the loud noise they produce, their use on public roads is prohibited.
