Cardboard is made from cellulose fibers and any plant that can provide this cellulose can be used in the production of cardboard. That is, wheat stem, straw, coniferous or broad-leaved trees, cotton plant stem, hemp, flax, and in short any plant tissue or cellulose can be turned into cardboard pulp. Before dealing with the cardboard production process, it is good to know that the first paper similar to today's paper - not the papyrus paper that was made by the Egyptians - was made by the Chinese from flax and hemp. Now we are going to the stages of cardboard production.

1- Weighing the raw materials of cardboard production: In this stage, the raw materials - wood, agricultural waste or cardboard and paper waste - are weighed to get the right ratio of chemicals and raw materials. Cardboard production is mixed. Cardboard pulp baking: chemicals and raw materials for cardboard production are poured into a special pot and cooked at a temperature of less than 100 degrees Celsius. The obtained previous step is washed in three steps in a cylinder that is special for washing cardboard pulp.

3- Washing the cardboard pulp: the dough obtained in the previous step is washed in a cylinder that is special for washing the cardboard pulp in three steps. After it is mixed and diluted by washing and mixing, it is pumped to centrifugal filters. There, heavy and extra particles, such as stones and sand, are separated from it, and then with the thickening system, the dryness of the cardboard pulp is brought to something around 100%. It is mixed and left in the tank for 45 minutes to mix well with chlorine. Then it is sent to the chlorine washing system and diluted again. Then it enters the final stage of washing with hypochlorite solution and is decolorized in several stages. After this step, the obtained cardboard pulp is sent to the cardboard machine.

6- The sixth step, passing through the cardboard machine: the pulp, which has been well prepared and decolorized after the aforementioned steps, is transferred to the cardboard machine, where it is placed in the suction stage until the water is completely separated. After this stage, the pulp is sent to the dryer. 7- The seventh stage of drying: After the pulp passes through the cardboard machine, the obtained pulp enters the tunnel of the dryer. This cardboard pulp dries well in this tunnel using hot air. 8- The eighth step of cardboard ironing: In this step, after passing the cardboard through the dryer, the cardboard is crooked and uneven and needs to be ironed. Be smooth and uniform. In addition to smoothing the cardboard, this also causes the cellulose fibers of the cardboard to be firm and compressed. 9- The ninth step of cutting the cardboard: after ironing, the cardboard is cut according to the required size and cut to the machine. Specific and identical dimensions are obtained. 10- The tenth and final stage of cardboard packaging: the obtained cardboards are placed inside special plastics for cardboard packaging and stored or sent to buyers.
