But white vinegar is better known for its excellent cleaning properties. For example, when mixed with baking soda, it creates a foaming solution that is useful for removing grease and baked-on food from pots and stoves.

White vinegar has other uses at home, for example, it can be poured into the washing machine to soften the fabrics, clean the coffee maker and descale. This combination helps to keep flowers fresh and many other things.

Rice vinegar

Rice vinegar or rice wine vinegar is made from fermented rice wine. This vinegar has a sweet and relatively mild taste and is less acidic than most types of vinegar. The color of rice vinegar can vary depending on the country of origin and varies from light to brown, red and even black. This type of vinegar is mostly used in Asian recipes, including stir-fries, salads, noodles, and even vegetables.

Apple vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has been very popular in recent years because it has many different uses. This vinegar is made from fermented apple juice and has a completely different taste than other types of vinegar. You can mix apple cider vinegar and olive oil to make a salad dressing. This substance is also one of the main ingredients of recipes for preparing meat, shrimp and even some dishes containing potatoes.

Apple cider vinegar also helps with digestion and improves gut health. Some people even drink it straight or simply mix it with water. There are many recipes for improving and strengthening health that use apple cider vinegar as the main ingredient.

Malt vinegar

Malt vinegar is made from malted barley. Many people use this combination, which is known as an ingredient in traditional fish and chips recipes, for beans, toast, and even to make pickles.

Cleaning vinegar

Cleaning vinegar is not a food product at all. In fact, it is not safe to consume. At 6% acidity (most vinegars are 5%) it is a great natural solution for cleaning most surfaces around the house. You can make an all-purpose spray with vinegar cleaner just like white vinegar - use a ratio of one part vinegar to one part water.
