Velvet
Velvet fabric is a special type of fabric that has wide varieties. Of course, due to the variety and characteristics of this fabric, it has many uses in its use. Some types of this fabric are wonderful in evening dresses because of their beautiful appearance and good flexibility, and give you an aristocratic look. Some other types of fabric are welcomed in autumn and winter clothes due to their special and relatively thick texture.
The first recorded documents of silk velvet fabric date back to several years before Christ. Of course, these textiles were produced in China, located in East Asia, before the Silk Road reached Europe. Velvet fabrics made great progress in Europe during the Renaissance. The records of civilizations in China show that velvet fabric was woven only by hand, and because of the slow and difficult process, it was only used by royal families. Of course, when the knitting machine was invented, the development of velvet fabric was further developed and its access was provided to everyone.

Making velvet fabric
In general, there are two methods of weaving velvet fabric.
1- Weaving on wire
2-Double layer weaving
One of the most common methods of weaving velvet is double layer weaving. In this method, the fabric is placed facing each other at a uniform distance in a special weaving machine known as a double machine, and the fluff threads of different materials pass through both fabrics and are woven tightly, and then two The layers are separated. In order to make the appearance of the fabric more beautiful, the fluffs are shortened and wrapped on a roll.
