Hub valves

Ball faucets are mostly used in the kitchen and on the dishwasher. This type of faucets are the first types of faucets without washers that work with only one lever. In this way, the lever rotates around a ball cap that is placed on top of the main body of the valve. This is while the lever controls a plastic or metal ball placed inside the valve body. It is through this lever that the intensity and temperature of the water can be adjusted. Ball valves, having a ball mechanism and always being exposed to water, usually get corroded over time, which causes this type of valve to be permanently damaged.

Discus valves

Among the most modern faucets in the market are ceramic disc faucets. This type of valve is also one of the single-lever category and their lever is placed on a wide cylindrical body. A disc faucet combines hot and cold water in a tank called a pressure balance cartridge. There are two ceramic discs at the bottom of this tank that move up and down to control the water pressure. The water temperature is also adjusted by turning the lever to the right and left. These types of valves are of high quality and require less maintenance than other valves. On the other hand, disc valves are in the category of expensive valves.

Cartridge valves

Cartridge valves are placed in the two-lever category, because they look completely similar to double-lever pressure valves, and the only difference is that cartridge valves are of the type without gaskets and pressure valves are placed in the category with gaskets. . It should be noted that despite the appearance similarity between these two types of faucets, you can easily notice the difference in their performance during use; Because pressure valves need to apply pressure on the washer when turning the lever. In other words, the water exit from the faucet is not done easily with cartridge faucets; But in cartridge faucets, with the smallest turn of the lever, it is possible to turn off or connect the water flow very quickly and easily.

Pressure valves

This type of faucet has existed in homes since ancient times. Pressure valves are among the valves that have washers that are often seen in older houses, although these valves are also used in new buildings with modifications today. These types of construction faucets are among the cheapest faucets. This type of two-lever faucet separates hot and cold water, and usually you have to apply more pressure to close or open it than other faucets. These valves work with washers, and this is the reason why this type of valve leaks more than other valves, because due to the normal pressure that is applied to them, they constantly wear out and as a result, the washers need to be replaced.

This type of faucet has a motion sensor. The motion sensor ensures you use water directly and efficiently. Just by moving your hand over the motion sensor, the water comes out and starts flowing. It is a good choice for kitchen and bathroom. This type of faucet is known for its help and effect on health.
