In this model of elevators, a gearbox is also installed along with the cable. In general, all the components involved are connected to the electric motor. These elevators are among the examples with acceptable and good speed and can move the cabin in one minute to a distance of more than 150 meters. It drives the tow wire. The maximum distance that the elevators can travel is about 76 meters. Therefore, this type of elevator is suitable for short to semi-high buildings. The maximum weight that these elevators can bear is about 13,600 kg, and the installation cost of this type is lower than gearless type elevators.
