How to make cement?
In Iran, cement production is done in two ways: wet and dry. In both methods, limestone and other materials that contain appropriate proportions of materials (calcium, silicon, aluminum, and iron oxides) are combined and ground to become a flour-like powder. After this step, the obtained powder is heated in a furnace to form calcium silicates and aluminates. These formed silicates are melted at a temperature of 1450 degrees Celsius and the materials obtained from melting are called clinker. The cleaner is ground with a small amount of gypsum and finally cement is produced.
