What is a steel skeleton
The structure of a building consisting of beams and columns is called a skeleton, which is responsible for maintaining the entire building. The skeleton neutralizes all the load entering the building, which is vertical and horizontal, and transfers it to the foundation of the building. The higher and wider the building, the stronger this frame should be. The skeleton of the building is made in two ways: metal and concrete.
Concrete skeleton is actually the same concrete structure that is made with raw materials including sand and cement and rebar. Concrete structures can be used in stairs, foundations, columns and all main parts.
Steps
Construction of base and foundation
The first stage of construction of a metal structure is the construction of foundation and foundation. At this stage, the soil of the construction site is examined for its strength and material, and the foundation is reinforced and concreted using the structural plans.
Steel column construction
This stage is chosen due to the selection of the type of steel sections, IPE, IPB, can, stud rebar according to the load of the building. In column installation, the most important point is the connection between the foundation and the column and the gap between the two. According to the base and connections of the column, the steel plates (base plate) are welded to the end of the columns. Prefabricated such as IPR, IPB, can and stud, honeycomb, corner are used, the load of the building is transferred through the beams to the columns. Steel beams are usually used from 3 meters to 9 meters, but they can be up to 18 meters long. The column and the beam are connected to each other by two methods of screwing and welding.

Steel Structure Feature
Due to its recyclability, metal materials can be used for reconstruction after the destruction of the building, which reduces the consumption of materials and costs. To increase the strength of the metal frame, fireproof coating and paints can be used. Compared to the whole building, the steel structure has a small volume, which makes it a better space. It is very important to have more open space in commercial structures.
Due to the connection of welding and screwing, the execution of the steel structure is very fast, which will be the most desirable option in projects where execution speed is important. Generally, metal structures are produced by the factory and some of its assembly (welding, bolts and nuts, etc.) will be done by the operator, for this reason, it reduces the error of human error.
