Temperature
Refractory bricks are widely used in furnaces due to their high resistance to high temperatures, and they have little porosity compared to ordinary bricks.
Compounds
Refractory brick is produced from the combination of silicon, aluminum, titanium and other metal oxides, but ordinary brick is produced from lime, iron oxide, etc. in addition to silicon and aluminum.

Colors and appearances
The appearance of firebrick is rectangular with sharp edges, but ordinary brick can be different, and in addition, the color variety of firebrick is very wide.
Thermal conductivity
According to its structure, refractory brick is a good insulator for heat absorption and thermal insulation, but ordinary brick has high conductivity in heat transfer.
