Casting
One of the things that you may encounter when casting injection molds is the failure to form a part or a part of it. Note that this problem generally happens to filled or so-called injection molds.
When faced with such a problem, we must say that the grout you use for these molds is thick. First, take the specific weight of your grout, a suitable grout will give you results when measuring the specific weight between numbers 157 and 163 (if If you don't know what specific weight is and how it is measured, let us know in the comments section.
If it goes above 163, the slurry is thick, but pay attention to the structural difference of injection molds compared to hollow (normal) molds. Even the specific gravity between these numbers may be too thick for it. I suggest that you consider a separate slurry for your injection molds, so that you pour the slurry you want into a separate bucket and add some purified water to it. The amount of water is completely It is experimental, but try to take the specific weight again after adding water and relatively find out that it is not less than 157, because the excess dilution of the slurry will dry your piece slowly and reduce the quality of your mold in the long run. .
We emphasize that you use purified water because we don't want city water salts to change the slurry formula and reduce its quality. Do not return the diluted injection molds to your original slurry.
