Drop irrigation
Drip irrigation is one of the most up-to-date irrigation systems under pressure. This system is a method in which water is released from the network with low pressure through a device or orifice called a dripper and is poured under the plant in the form of drops. This type of irrigation is sometimes called local irrigation. Using drip irrigation saves water and reduces costs. Drip irrigation equipment for a small garden and a multi-hectare garden are different. But all follow the same basic framework.

Drip irrigation equipment
☑️ pump or pumping station
Pump or pumping station is one of the most important drip irrigation equipment that is used for very large gardens. Water is stored in these pumps and enters the pipes and drippers at the right time. A pump is not needed for drip irrigation of apartment pots and small gardens. Even in slightly larger fields, a pump is not needed and normal water pressure is sufficient. But in large agricultural gardens, according to factors such as the diameter of the pipes, the area of the garden, the slope of the land, the number of drippers, a suitable pump should be prepared for the drip irrigation system.
☑️ Main and sub -pipes (drip irrigation hose)
In the drip system, pipes play an important role. The task of these pipes is to bring water and air to the roots of plants. The main pipes are usually made of polyethylene and the secondary pipes are made of tape or polyethylene. Tip tape is a tube that has a thin wall and a simple structure. The thickness of tape is usually 4 to 25 mm. But the thicker irrigation strips, which are the same as drip pipes, are used for permanent purposes such as subsurface irrigation. If the thinner irrigation strips are thrown away after use, they are actually disposable. It should be said that the price of these pipes is directly related to the material used in their construction.

☑️ Dropper (Darper)
☑️ Fittings and valves
In order to install and use different parts in the drip irrigation system, we need a number of connections. Preventing water leakage is one of the important characteristics of these connections. Connections can be produced in different types such as elbows and tees and in different sizes. Also, these faucets can be used to cut off or connect the water flow. Drip irrigation faucets have a wide variety. These faucets can be used in sizes of 16, 12 and 20 ml.

☑️ Filtering system
After some time, the embankment and sand may block the path of the drippers. At this stage, a filtration system is needed. The drip irrigation filter prevents the dripper from clogging. It is necessary to open and close the filter once in a while. Of course, in home drip irrigation systems, due to the fact that they use city irrigation, there is no need for filtration and the water is completely clear and clean.
☑️ Smart tool
One of the advantages of the drip irrigation system is the possibility of making it smart. By adding some parts such as timer taps, irrigation timers, electric controls, plants can be watered from anywhere in the world without being at home or in the garden. There are also more advanced systems that use their sensors to measure the humidity and temperature of the environment. After this measurement, necessary decisions are made about the plants' need for irrigation.

☑️ Irrigation Timer
The irrigation timer can be used to make the drip irrigation system more intelligent.
