Applications of silicone hose
The use of silicone hose is very common in many industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, chemical, pharmaceutical and mining industries. These hoses are used to transfer fluids such as water, oil, chemical solvents, fuel gases and air. They are also used in the medical industry for blood transfusions, saline solutions, etc.
Types of silicone hoses
1- Silicone hose with a thin wall
Due to the thin wall, these types of hoses are used to transfer fluids that must be at a high temperature. In addition, this type of hose is more flexible due to the thin wall.
2- Silicone hose with thick wall
These types of hoses are used to transfer fluids that contain high pressure and require a strong wall.

3- Silicone hose with a combined wall
These types of hoses have a wall composed of different layers such as polyester, polypropylene, PVC or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). These types of hoses are used to transfer fluids that need to withstand pressure, heat and chemical conditions.
4- Silicone lattice hose
These types of hoses have a mesh layer of polyester in their outer wall and are highly flexible. These hoses are used to transfer fluids that need resistance to stretching and bending, such as water and gas fluids.
5. Silicone-free hose
These types of hoses are without walls and only have a layer of inner silicone and a layer of fabric for more flexibility. These hoses are used to transfer fluids that are at high temperature and due to their high flexibility.
