There are different types of overhead cranes according to their applications in the industry.
1- Gate crane
This type of crane is mostly installed in open spaces. They are used in places like stone cutting factories. The components of a gantry crane consist of a mesh or non-mesh horizontal pole, as well as 4 or 2 legs and peripheral devices such as pulleys and cables.
The directions of movement in cranes are longitudinal, transverse and vertical. . These cranes are classified into two types: single bridge and double bridge. The tonnage of moving materials in this crane is up to 30 tons and they are made with openings up to 70 meters long.
1- Half gate crane
There is another type of overhead cranes, which are functionally similar to gantry cranes, with the difference that the working radius is greater in this structure. Also, the capacity and carrying power of the semi-gantry crane will be less. One of the key features of the semi-gantry crane is the rotation angle of the pole, which is 180 degrees and in some examples up to 360 degrees, and the pulley in this structure works both electrically and manually, and the girder beams are up to 10 meters long. are designed.

1- The arm gate crane
This type of crane is mostly used in the environments of halls, warehouses and machinery manufacturing lines. Among their capabilities, we can mention turning up to 180 degrees manually. Also, their arm length is usually 6 meters. Gantry crane has a capacity of up to 5 tons. For places that do not have any problems in terms of foundation implementation, up to 10 tons tonnage can be designed.
Wall crane
Wall mounted crane is another type of overhead crane that is very widely used in closed places such as machinery assembly. Its capacity is up to 5 tons. This crane has the ability to install chain hoists and towing wire. The length of its arm is 10 meters and the speed of movement in them is also different. It has six electric movements and can be installed for all heights.
