The lizard jack has a handle that moves up and down. This handle is connected to the hydraulic piston and by raising and lowering it, the piston inside the cylinder also moves up and down. The jack handle is pushed down, creating pressure in the cylinder, which causes the hydraulic oil to be compressed into the cylinder. Compressed hydraulic oil enters the lift arm through a small valve. The jack bowl is connected to the lifting arm and is in direct contact with the desired object. As the lifting arm of the vehicle rises, so does the vehicle.
Releasing the jack
After the work is done, the drain valve is opened to allow the hydraulic oil to drain out. The lifting arm is removed and returned to the cylinder. In this way, the object is brought down.
