What are the types of electromotors?
Electromotor AC or Alternating Current
It is considered one of the types of industrial electric motor that is powered by AC or alternating current. This type of electric motor has high flexibility in energy supply, and due to the ease of repair, there is a greater desire to use these motors in various industries; AC motors are classified into two types in terms of power supply: single phase and three phase electric motor. The use of single phase electric motor is simple and light and usually these types of motors are manufactured and supplied as single capacitor or relay and two capacitors. they become AC electric motors can prevent overheating and damage to the equipment connected to it, that's why they are used in pumps, food industry, packaging equipment industry, conveyor belt, etc.

DC electromotor or Direct Current
Regarding the use of DC electric motor as another type of electric motor, it should be noted that these motors are at the opposite point of AC motors. These motors transfer the current directly and therefore have a rotor, stator, commutator and brush. This category of electric motors are produced in different types and because high torque is required for their installation and operation, they are used in industries that require high torque. DC motors are efficient at high torques. They are very good and for this reason they are used in super heavy cranes, hydraulic elevators and things like that.
Special electromotors
Regarding the use of a specific electric motor, it should be noted that these motors are of the same type as AC and DC, and according to the type of consumption, a series of changes have been made in their components and efficiency. Specific electric motors are divided into several categories based on the type of design, which include the following:
Hysteresis
Stepper
Servo
Universal
Dalander
Cooler
Explosion-proof

Among the types of special electric motors, cooler and anti-explosion electric motors can be mentioned as the most widely used motors. Anti-explosion engines are used in sensitive industries such as petrochemicals, refineries, underground mines, etc.
