Tiling and ceramic work are part of the carpentry stage in building construction. And ceramic tiles are used to cover some walls and floors of the building. Ceramic tiles are used not only for the beauty of the interior and exterior of the building, but also as a moisture barrier.
For this reason, the floors and walls of bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens are generally covered with ceramic tiles. Because they are very resistant to the penetration of water and moisture and are not damaged.
Tile
Tiles are thin plates of clay covered with a layer of glaze. Tiles are used to cover the floor and walls of some parts of the buildings, and this work, in addition to adding to the beauty of the place, provides an insulating cover against moisture. Tiling is a specialized work and should be done in such a way that the edges of the tiles do not overlap and there is not a large distance between them. Of course, ceramic tiles and mosaics should not be confused with each other. We said that in tiles, they cover the clay with a layer of glaze. But in ceramics, this protective layer is made of ceramics, and this makes them heavier and more resistant. Therefore, ceramics are used to cover the floor and tiles are used to cover the walls. Mosaics are also used to cover exterior floors and sidewalks.

Tile benefits

Wall tile
Since the walls are usually not completely level, the level line should be used as a guide to install tiles on them. Before you start, check how the tiles are placed on the wall. It is better that the tiles that are placed on the sides of the wall should be of equal pieces and the side tiles should not be narrow. will have To tile the wall, at the beginning of the work, align the upper part and the center of the wall, and then mark the map of the tiles on the wall.
Floor tile
In floor tiling, in order for the surface to look symmetrical, you need to find the center of the floor and then measure the distance from each side of the floor to the center. After that, you can draw a line perpendicular to the walls from the center of the ground and divide the area to be tiled into four parts. Then install the tiles in each of these areas, starting from the center and moving towards the walls.
This will make the floor look symmetrical and the cut tiles will not be placed on only one side of the floor. The placement of cut tiles on one side and large tiles on the other side makes the surface look asymmetrical and reduces the final beauty of the work.
