Bakhtiar Construction Holding Backbone Process Process
Different methods are used to strengthen the building against earthquakes, and one of the most widely used methods is the use of bed rebar. In this article, we want to talk about bed rebar, its types and its uses. These rebars have ribbed grooves on their surface to make better contact with mortar or concrete. Steel undergoes erosion over time, the surfaces of this type of steel bars are covered with a coating of zinc. This coating is anti-rust and increases the life of the rebar and prevents early erosion of these rebars. As a result, with this work, the quality and lifespan of the rebar increases. In this article, we will get to know the bed rebar from Bakhtiar Construction Holding in Chalus.
How to use the bedding in the building
The bed rebar is a pair of longitudinal wires to which transverse wires in the form of a ladder or truss are connected by resistance welding, and it is used horizontally or vertically in the structure. The teeth of this rebar allow it to be easily placed in the mortar. The bed rebar should be resistant to moisture and rusting. For this reason, stainless steel galvanized coating is used in its production. To implement this method, before building the wall, we have to connect it horizontally to the structure. In metal skeletons, the installation is done using special metal nails and guns or by welding, and we attach fasteners to a minimum total of 4 cm on all 4 sides. But in the concrete structure, it is done either with concrete nails and its gun, or by using screws and roll bolts. According to the regulations, the location of this type of rebar is every 50 cm.

The benefits of bed rebar
Process
The production process of bed rebar is done in 2 stages. In the first step, the 5.5 mm coil is first converted to 4 mm during the stretching process. Then the 4 mm coil becomes the bed rebar. After the stretching stage, the coils are taken to the oven to be baked inside the ovens at a temperature of 900 degrees Celsius to form the so-called annealing process on them. In the next step, by means of fully automatic machines, 4 mm coils are first ribbed and then turned into bed rebar. In addition to the production of bed rebar in workshops and production factories, other equipment required for the implementation of bed rebar in the structure, such as clamps, hooks and wall posts, are also produced in parallel.
