Polyurea insulation

Polyurea is a type of elastomer that is obtained from the reaction of isocyanate and polyamine. Polyurea is a remarkable coating with sealant technology. It is used for different purposes. This coating is usually used more than concrete and steel for protection against corrosion and resistance to wear, and it can be sprayed in different forms and for different molds. It is also used as a protective shell for hardcovers for specific application architectures.

Special features:

Ability to use quickly after implementation.
• Implementation by spraying and with a smooth and shiny surface
• Extraordinary elongation (elongation)
• Creating high physical and chemical resistance< br>• High resistance to UV rays
• Excellent resistance to wear, corrosion, tearing and impact
• 1000 micron thickness, seamless, integrated and without cracks
• Fast reactivity, no catalyst
br>

This auto-catalyst coating does not react with moisture or surfaces due to its fast reaction and on cold or wet metal, concrete, wooden, polyurethane foam and... It can be applied. Today, polyurea is usually applied to concrete and steel for corrosion protection and wear resistance. The market and application of polyurea is endless and rapidly expanding..
There are two types of polyurea, pure polyurea, whose producers are only approved by the Polyurea Development Association, and polyurea (Hybrid), each of which has different properties. In hybrid polyurea, due to the presence of impurities such as polyurethane, it reduces the properties of pure polyurea, but due to the low price, it is used in some cases where less properties are needed.

Polyurea cannot solve the problem of coatings by itself, but it must be done with accurate leveling, proper primer, polyurea with the right formulation and structure, along with quality control and inspection and a trained operator. Be experienced and lack of accuracy in choosing and using any of these items will lead to failure.

Applications:

• Petrochemical: Refineries, oil platforms, transmission pipes, surface tanks, gas stations

• Water and sewage industries: Drinking water tanks , wastewater, chlorine ponds, water purification systems, pumping stations, widely used in drinking water and urban wastewater industries without affecting drinking water and its permeability

• Urban tunnels and sewage: Renovation and repair of tunnels and sewage pipes

• Power plant industries: Long-term protection against corrosion, chemicals and high temperature in nuclear, fossil, water and wind power plants

• Marine industry: effective in protecting aluminum and fiberglass and.... in salt water - creating a non-slip floor on the ship's deck

• Transportation industries: can be used in vans, trailers, mixers
