What is plum?
Plum is a single seed fruit that has different types in terms of shape, color, taste and size. This fruit is rich in nutrients such as calcium, manganese, copper, potassium, phosphorus, zinc and iron. Therefore, it can have many therapeutic uses. Plums usually exist in two forms, shrubs and trees, and its modified example is abundantly planted in Iran. Plum is usually known for its sour and delicious taste, and many people prefer it because of its distinct and different taste.
Dry plum types
1. Plum Bukhara
Small golden plums with different taste and color are known as Bukhara plums. This plum is native to France and is used as a food seasoning in that country. In our country, this plum is mostly planted in the northeastern and northwestern mountainous areas. This plum is rich in potassium and is used to treat many diseases such as high blood pressure. Usually dried Bukhari plums are used in all kinds of stews to give them a unique aroma.
2. Black plum
This plum is another type of plum known for its attractive dark purple color. This plum has a sweet taste and is used for various diseases. Black plums can be consumed fresh or dried along with other fruits.
3. Electrical plum
This plum is native to Iran and is usually consumed dry. This delicious plum can be used to prepare all kinds of soups and stews.
