Kimia Trade of Iranian Farm Di Ammonium Phosphate
Diammonium phosphate, also known as DAP, has different uses depending on the formula with which it is made. For example, we can mention diammonium phosphate (18-46-00), which is used to strengthen plant products, or (21-53-00), which helps in the production of yeast. Fertilizers such as diammonium phosphate allow any type of plant to grow sufficiently regardless of the weather conditions prevailing in its area. This fertilizer is a great option for adding essential nutrients to all your crops that are essential for optimal growth. Diammonium fertilizer is an ideal fertilizer for many crops such as beets, forage plants (meadows), corn seeds, corn silage, oats, potatoes, sunflowers, soybeans and wheat.
What is the phosphate di -ammonium?
This material is a type of phosphoric acid that contains three essential elements: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. These elements are responsible for supplying plants with nutrients, and for this reason, it is used as fertilizer. According to its physical properties, DAP is a granular white substance with relative density. To use it as a fertilizer, it is necessary to dilute it with water to preserve all its properties. Its particles are easily diluted in water so that it is much easier to be absorbed by the plant. Also, according to the compounds in its formulation, in addition to the three essential elements, it may also contain other minor nutrients. However, there are different formulas of it and each of them is used for different production and agricultural activities.
Phosphate di -ammonium

Nitrogen (n)
is an element that is considered as the engine of growth and reproduction of plants. This element plays a fundamental role in all the main processes of plant growth and their performance.
Phosphorus (p)
It is an element that plays an essential role in transferring energy to plants. Therefore, it plays a key role for photosynthesis and other chemical-physiological processes and is very useful from the beginning to the end of crop growth.
Potassium (k)
The element that is responsible for absorbing water and plays a key role in the synthesis of carbohydrates and proteins in the plant's water balance. It also increases the tolerance of the crop to drought, frost and salinity. Either for the production of yeast or as an agricultural fertilizer, diammonium phosphate is used depending on the amount of these elements in it. Any different combination of it can be used not only in agricultural production, but also in different ways.

Uses of di -ammonium phosphate in the industry
Diammonium phosphate fertilizer is used in many industrial applications, as a fire retardant and an additive in the nicotine enhancer of cigarettes. It is also used as a source of nitrogen and phosphorus in the production of malt, sugar purification, as a flux in tin, copper, zinc and brass soldering, as a catalyst in the production of aminoplasts, for impregnating matches and dyeing wool. Another use of diammonium phosphate is in chrome metal and colloidal colors soluble in alkalis and insoluble in acids, and of course its solution is also used as an absorbent for insect traps.
